Alberta New Home Warranty Program is proud to sponsor Inn from the Cold (Calgary) and Boyle Street Community Services (Edmonton) for the return of our annual Rolling Revelry Charity Lawn Bowling Tournament. This year, the event raised $20,000 —$7,500 for Boyle Street Community Services and $12,500 for Inn from the Cold — helping make a real difference for Albertans in need!

Boyle Street Community Services:

Boyle Street Community Services is committed to ending chronic homelessness by helping individuals grow healthier through connection with strong, accepting, and respectful communities. Since 1971, Boyle Street has served Edmonton’s inner city, supporting and empowering individuals to break the cycle of poverty and homelessness.
Boyle Street offers a wide range of services, including:
  • Temporary housing
  • UBUNTU Children & Families, which provides community-based support for children, youth, and families to help them achieve their goals
  • The C5 North East Hub, a collaboration of five community agencies serving over 30,000 Edmontonians, including Indigenous individuals and families, marginalized children, youth, and adults, newcomers, immigrants, refugees, and teen parents
  • The Youth Community Support Program (YCSP), which provides mental health services for youth and their families
  • Boyle Street Ventures, a collection of social enterprises offering low-barrier employment opportunities
  • Group Living Programs for youth involved with Children’s Services

Inn From the Cold:

Inn from the Cold is a Calgary-based organization that, for the past 25 years, has served as more than a shelter. Guided by the belief that every family deserves the opportunity to thrive, they focus on helping families achieve lasting independence and build a future beyond survival.
In addition to transitional housing, Inn from the Cold strengthens families through:
  • Stable housing solutions
  • Skill-building programs
  • A Housing First and harm reduction approach to break the cycle of homelessness
The facility includes 72 units in total—10 for emergency shelter and 32 for transitional housing—each designed with thoughtfulness and dignity. Rooted in trauma-informed practices, Inn from the Cold provides a space where individuals can feel normal, respected, and safe to be themselves.
Their support extends beyond the shelter stay, offering:
  • Programs for children and teens
  • Culturally relevant programs for Indigenous youth to connect with their heritage
  • Emma House, a supportive housing program for expectant mothers experiencing homelessness

As a key supplier to Alberta’s homebuilding industry, we recognize the importance of helping those without housing find stability and build peace of mind. We are proud to support these charitable partners and their vital work each year – we’ve got you covered, every step of the way.
