Building Futures Program

As a leading Airdrie homebuilder, McKee Homes is passionate about sharing its knowledge and love for homebuilding while helping youth discover careers in construction, business, and community leadership.

Launched in 2013, the Building Futures Program teaches Grade 10 students in Rocky View School Division about the trades and the homebuilding process. Working alongside expert trade partners, students help build a home from the ground up—gaining hands-on experience in design, surveying, drafting, construction, staging, marketing, and sales. Throughout the year, students also learn from industry professionals about credit, mortgages, and lending.

Community  Involvement:

  • Over $150,000 donated in 2025 to various community groups, charities, youth sports teams, and programs including participation in ANHWP’s Rolling Revelry Charity Lawn Bowling Tournament!
  • Annual scholarships at SAITfor the construction and trade programs.
