Office Administrator

Located in Calgary, Alberta

The Alberta New Home Warranty Program Group of Companies (ANHWP Group), is Alberta’s most experienced and most trusted new home warranty provider and educator for homebuilders. As Alberta’s leader in new home warranty products and services for over 45 years, we continue to raise the bar to meet the needs of homeowners and our Builder Members.

This position resides with The Alberta New Home Warranty Program (ANHWP) and works alongside The New Home Warranty Insurance (Canada) Corporation (NHWICC) and the Professional Home Builders Institute of Alberta (PHBI).

Accountable for

As a member of the People & Culture team, this position reports to the Vice President, People & Culture. The successful incumbent will be responsible for ensuring that office and administrative functions are well coordinated and running smoothly.  Taking initiative and seeing projects and tasks through to completion is critical.


The Office Administrator is expected to work in the Calgary office full-time and the primary responsibilities of the Office Administrator are:

  • Coordination of office supports such as ordering supplies, vendor management, processing incoming and outgoing mail, liaising with building management on parking and any issues, maintaining office floor plans
  • Providing administrative support including booking meetings, agenda preparation, minute taking, report writing, file and membership maintenance and budget tracking
  • Making meeting and travel arrangements
  • Event coordination
  • Leading projects as required

Skills & Experience


  • Minimum education: Diploma in Office Administration/Professional or similar is required


  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in office administration or providing administrative support
  • Considered an asset: Experience supporting Executives and Boards of Directors

Technical Skills

  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office

Soft Skills

  • You have a high attention to detail, are collaborative and well organized.  You can plan and prioritize your work and have exceptional communication skills.
